MPESB Recruitment 2025: The official exam dates for the Pre-Nursing Selection Test (PNST) and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Training Selection Test for the year 2025 have been declared by the board. Candidates preparing for these important entrance exams should take note of the full schedule and eligibility details.
From March 20, 2025, until April 09, 2025, applications were accepted for the MPESB Group 1 & 2 Sub Group 1 Recruitment 2025. The date of the written test is set on May 25, 2025. Exam Date and Time
The PNST and GNM Selection Exams will be conducted on:
Date: June 24, 2025
Shifts:
- First Shift: 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Both exams will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based), and candidates are advised to reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
Compensatory Time for Eligible Candidates
Candidates who have applied for Compensatory Time (due to physical or learning disabilities) will be given extra time based on the total duration of the examination:
- For a 3-hour exam – 60 minutes extra
- For a 2.5-hour exam – 50 minutes extra
- For a 2-hour exam – 40 minutes extra
- For a 1.5-hour exam – 30 minutes extra
This additional time is provided as per the rules to ensure fairness and accessibility for all applicants.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for PNST and GNM 2025, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have passed Class 12 or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- The main subjects must include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Candidates must secure at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Relaxation for Reserved Categories:
- For candidates belonging to SC, ST, or OBC categories, there is a 5% relaxation, meaning they must have secured a minimum of 40% marks.
- Age Limit:
- The candidate should have completed 17 years of age by December 31, 2025.
- There is no mention of an upper age limit in the current notification.
Application Fee
The application fee must be paid at the time of submitting the online application form. The fee structure is as follows:
- General Category: ₹400
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC): ₹200
Candidates should make the payment through the official website using online modes such as debit/credit cards, UPI, or net banking. Make sure to keep the transaction receipt safe for future reference.
