CBSE initiates Free Psychosocial Counselling: Following the announcement of the results of the Class 10 and 12 board exams, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launched its second phase of free psychosocial counselling services to help pupils. Starting on May 13 and running until May 28, 2025, the hotline will be available.
This action comes after the CBSE released results for over 37 lakh students, of whom over 22 lakh passed Class 10 with a 93.66 percent pass rate and almost 15 lakh passed Class 12 with an 88.39 percent success rate.
At this critical point, the counselling service aims to support students and their families by improving emotional well-being. The student’s roll number, admission card ID, school code, and other credentials may be used to access the CBSE Result 2025 mark sheets.
Expert Support from India and Abroad
This assistance is being provided by a group of 65 experts. In addition to 14 specialists from other nations, this team consists of 51 professionals from India, including psychologists, special educators, skilled counsellors, and principals.
Parents and kids from CBSE-affiliated schools are eligible for free telecounselling. These professionals are lending a hand for free since they are doing this voluntarily.
How to Access the Counselling Services?
From anywhere in India, parents and kids may use the toll-free number 1800-11-8004 to get counselling. Via an Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS), this number also provides crucial information and helpful advice for managing stress.
More Help Online
On its website, CBSE has included a unique “Counselling” link for additional tools and information. It is accessible to parents and students via the CBSE Counselling Portal.
CBSE’s Support for Students’ Well-being
CBSE’s concern for students’ mental health is shown by its post-result counselling program. CBSE hopes that by providing free professional help, students will feel supported and able to manage their results calmly and confidently.
Parents and kids may speak with professionals throughout this 15-day program and get the support they need to deal with any anxiety or worry after test results.
