Available Positions & Details

1. Young Professional-II (Technical/Scientific – General)

  • No. of Posts: 6
  • Salary: ₹42,000/month
  • Age Limit: Max 40 years
  • Qualification:
    • PG in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Sociology, Social Work, or AYUSH (BAMS/BSMS/MD).
    • Minimum 1-year experience (excluding internships).
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in public health or government/NGO communications.
    • Skills in writing, editing, graphic/video creation, MS Office, and virtual platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee social media and content strategy.
  • Develop campaigns, supervise the creation of designs and videos, and formulate essential statements for reports and events.
  • Make sure your brand is consistent across all of your communications.

2. Consultant – Graphic Design (Non-Medical)

  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Salary: ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,80,000/month
  • Age Limit: 40–70 years
  • Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Commerce/Science.
    • 10+ years of experience in graphic design.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience with government or health organisations.
    • Knowledge of AI tools, animation, infographics, and layout design.
    • Expertise in MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Design visually engaging government-approved content for social media, print, and campaigns.
  • Convert complex data into user-friendly visuals.
  • Align all visuals with official branding standards.

3. Young Professional-II (Technical/Scientific – Statistics)

  • No. of Posts: 2
  • Salary: ₹42,000/month
  • Age Limit: Max 40 years
  • Qualification:
    • PG in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
    • Minimum 1-year relevant experience.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in government, NGOs, or research settings.
    • Skills in Excel, SPSS, R, and data interpretation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead data collection and analysis for communication impact assessments.
  • Design evaluation tools like surveys and KPIs.
  • Present insights and reports to improve public outreach.

4. Consultant – Public Health Communication (Non-Medical)

  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Salary: ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,80,000/month
  • Age Limit: 40–70 years
  • Qualification:
    • PG in Media Studies, Communication, Graphic Design, Public Health, or related.
    • 10+ years of experience in communications and public health strategy.
    • A Ph.D. counts as 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop evaluation frameworks and KPIs for ICMR campaigns.
  • Analyse communication effectiveness and guide improvements.
  • Work with leadership and present findings to government stakeholders.

Job Location

All roles are based at ICMR Headquarters, New Delhi, in the Policy & Communications Division.

Important Terms

  • Contract Duration:
    • YPs: 1 year initially, renewable up to 3 years.
    • Consultants: Up to 5 years or age 70, whichever is earlier.
  • No TA/DA provided for travel or interviews.
  • No permanent employment rights or government benefits will apply.
