How to Submit Your Application for SCL Assistant Recruitment 2025
Applicants must complete the application online via the official SCL website:
- Access the SCL website.
- The online application window will be available from May 17, 2025, to May 26, 2025 (until 11:59 PM).
- Register by entering your full name, date of birth, valid email address, and valid phone number.
- After registration, you will receive an online Registration Number through SMS/Email. Keep this for future reference.
- Complete the application form with accurate information.
- Upload scanned images of your recent passport-sized photograph (taken within the last three months, without a cap and spectacles, clearly showing your face), signature, and left thumb impression (on a plain white page). Each file must not exceed 50 KB in size.
- Provide necessary documents, including a computer certificate for a minimum of 120 hours/03 months issued by an ISO 9001 accredited institution (unless you have a graduation degree in Computers such as BCA, B.Sc (IT), or B.Tech. (Computer Science)).
- Submit the application fee online.
- After completing the online application, print out the Application Form that has the Application Number for future reference.
- Candidates who have previously submitted an application for the Assistant position in response to Advertisement No. SCL:02/2025 dated 27.01.2025 do not need to reapply.
Application Fees
UR, EWS, and OBC candidates: ₹800 + 18% GST (₹944/-).
The cost is ₹400/- + GST @ 18% (i.e., ₹472/-) for all female applicants, scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), ex-servicemen (ESM), and persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBDs).
Subject to their participation in the written test, women applicants (including those who applied before) and SC/ST/ESM/PwBD candidates will get their application money back, less any bank fees.
Eligibility Criteria for SCL Assistant
Candidates should fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
Education:
- A graduate degree in any field from a recognized university is required.
- Candidates must be skilled in computer usage.
- Age Limit (as of the closing date for online application submission):
- Upper Age Limit: 25 years.
- Relaxations in the upper age limit are allowed for reserved categories according to government regulations.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 3 years after subtracting the military service duration from the actual age.
- Current employees of Autonomous bodies under MeitY/DOS/DRDO/DAE: 5 years
- Central Government Employees (with a minimum of 3 years of regular and continuous service): Up to 40 years of age
- Central Government Employees (SC/ST) (with a minimum of 3 years of regular and continuous service): Up to 45 years of age
