OPTCL Trainee Compensation & Advantages
Chosen candidates will be offered a competitive remuneration package throughout and following the training duration.
For Junior Maintenance & Operator Trainee (JMOT):
During the Training (1 year): A consolidated stipend of ₹17,000/- per month will be provided.
Post-Training: Candidates will be appointed as Assistant Technician (NE-4) under probation for one year.
Salary Range: ₹25,600/- to ₹81,200/- (Level: NE-(T)-4) with a starting Basic Pay of ₹25,600/-.
For Junior Management Trainee (Electrical) (Jr. MT):
During the Training (1 year): A consolidated stipend of ₹30,000/- per month will be provided.
Post-Training: Candidates will be appointed as Junior Manager (Electrical) in E-2 Grade under probation for one year.
Salary Range: ₹44,900/- to ₹1,42,400/- (Level: EE-1) with a starting Basic Pay of ₹44,900/-.
Training & Service Agreement Bond: Jr. MTs are required to sign a bond of ₹1,80,000/- to commit to serving OPTCL for four years (including the training period).
