Technician-1 Candidates must have completed SSC / 10th Standard / SSC or an equivalent qualification with Science subjects, achieving a minimum of 55% marks and possess an ITI certificate or a national/state trade certificate in Fitter, Welder, Turner, Electrical, Machinist, Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electronics, Draughtsman (Mechanical), Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant), Instrument Mechanic, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) or Information Technology or Computer Science, Motor Mechanic, Electroplater, Painter (General), Sheet Metal, House Keeper, Catering & Hospitality Assistant, X-ray Technician, Physiotherapy, Clinical / Medical Lab Technician.

CSIR NAL Recruitment Benefits Under Council Service 2025
a. These positions come with standard allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA) as applicable to Central Government employees and as per the rules for CSIR employees at the designated posting. Council employees are also eligible for housing based on the CSIR Residence Allotment Rules, subject to availability. If either council or government housing is used, HRA will not be applicable.
b. Apart from the stated salaries for each category of positions, benefits such as the New Pension Scheme, reimbursement of medical expenses, Leave Travel Concession, and Children’s Education Allowances are available in accordance with CSIR/Government of India (GoI) regulations applicable to the Council employees.
c. All new recruits will be subject to the “New Pension Scheme,” which is based on defined contributions applicable to new hires in Central Government Services after January 1, 2004, as adopted by CSIR for its workforce along with any relevant instructions issued by GoI/CSIR over time.

e. Regarding all issues related to the service conditions of employees of the Society, the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964, and the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules-1965, along with the Fundamental and Supplementary Rules established by the Government of India, will apply as far as relevant to the Council employees.
f. All the positions come with All India Service Liability (AISL), meaning that selected candidates may be required to serve in any part of the country.
